Unable to see primary fields in JIRA

Hi everyone, 

I have added the story point estimate in my next gen JIRA project under the issue type "User Story" 

However, it does not appear in my story view when I try to create a new story or even for existing stories. 

Is there some setting that was changed which resulted in this? Or is this a bug?

Enable estimation for your next-gen project

• Navigate to your next-gen software project.
• Go to Project Settings > Features.
• Enable or disable the Estimation feature.

When you navigate to the issue type configuration screen, you might notice that there will now be two Story point estimate fields when you do this. This is because one is for classic Scrum/Kanban projects, and the other is for next-gen Scrum/Kanban projects.
