When I post a comment from the JIRA app it says "from mobile". I want to tun this off.

Dan Barkman

Hi, I just commented on an issue via the JIRA mobile app fro Android, and it announced it in the comment , "Dan Barkman from mobile app". I want to turn this off, I don't want anyone to notice or care what platform I am using to do my work.

How can I disable this "feature"? There is nothing in the app settings that I can see.

Hi Dan,

Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a way to disable this feature.  There is a feature request for this ability, either in mobile app, and/or via the site settings in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-67517

I would recommend watching and voting on this issue.  Should a work-around become available, I would expect that ticket to be updated with details.

Regards,

Andy
