Can the comments of an ISSUE be configured to be ranked by time desc?

I want to see the new comment desplayed on the top , not the old one. Can anyone help solve this problem? btw, does JIRA allow to do this by configuration? Thanks.

You can configure this in jira-application.properties:

# The default order of actions (tab items like 'Comments', 'Change History' etc) on the 'View Issue' screen, by date, from top to bottom
# Possible values are: asc desc
#
jira.issue.actions.order=asc

well..in jira web application I don't know such opportunity to configure that.. All the issue comments is by chronological sequence (ascending) The last comment is the last in list. Maybe other jira guru's can told more..and maybe there is more opprtunity for that (in code..) etc.
