I am testing the OpenID provider add-on that I got from the market as a trial. (OpenID Authentication for JIRA)

Under user management , OpenID Authentication , I should be able to add a provider (eg, google+)

But I get the error.  It’s a user installed add-on

Provider of what?  As it's giving you an error, I'd say you've got it wrong too, but there's not a lot of information to go on here.
