Can not update project type via rest call

Question

Hi all,

I tried to update the description and project type of a existing project via Rest API.  According to the documentation, this is the method and endpoint.

PUT /rest/api/2/project/{projectIdOrKey}

{"projectTypeKey": "business", "description": "Example Project description"}

I was able to update description, but not projectTypeKey.  Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks Mogavenasan. Yeah, I just found it as well. The document is a bit misleading, as it includes the  "projectTypeKey" in the example request of update project.

To update Project type, you will need to use Update Project Type REST API.
