I would like to understand on how to setup REST API at the end of a workflow in one of the projects.
Could someone guide me on how to do this.

I'm not sure what you mean by using the API at the end of the workflow. Can you explain what it is you're wanting to do?
We recently moved to JIRA to manage our work and I'm currently handling user admin/project admin related work.
I received an email from my colleague to him them setup an API at the end of their workflow. What they are trying to do is automate certain interactions with JIRA which can be a big value-add.
