Set custom field option automatically based on another select list value - how to?

Question

Hi Everyone,

I have a custom field of select list type and this field needs to be set based on the selected Priority value:

If Priority="Critical" then the custom field option has to be "A"

If Priority="Urgent" then the custom field option has to be "B"

...

How can we configure such behaviour? I suspect that it can be done by using Post Functions(?)

Hi @TamasS,

Native post fucntions won't help here. You have quite a no of third party apps which provide this option.

You can use update on tranistion app for updating issues based on a condition.
