I have set customfiled value using behaviour but it is erased when I am changing issue type

Using behaviour I am trying to set the custom filed value in the create screen of constrained issue. when I change the issue type the value is getting erased otherwise its working fine.How to solve the issue?

Hi @Yaswitha Ponnaluru,

1. Can you confirm, if the custom field is still associated to the issue type screens?
2. Typically, the data would be associated between the issue and custom field and it is not based on issue type.
3. Once, you associate the custom field to the new issue type screens, you are all set and the custom field will be displayed on the view issue screens
