Change Default 'Open Issues' sort

Question

By default, when opening a project, I am shown the Open Issues panel - which is good. However it is sorted, by default, by 'priority.

I would like to change the default view to be 'created' and not priority for all users:

^^ this is the current view.

I can make the JQL query but lack the ability to see multiple issues and click between them?

I'm with you on this one. Why hard code an item that can be changed via dropdown on the page the item is being used? This should be a configurable item.

This question came from one of my users today and I have now spent a good amount of time researching this. My resolution on this is that it is not possible, based on other posts and forums. I figured I would inquire with you as a last ditch effort to see if you have found any solution to this?
