JQL Search not working

Question

Hi All

I have a project which has 1900 issues.

I have configured a custom field Scrum Team in it.

Now when i search

project=XYZ --- it returns 1900 records

project=XYZ and Scrum Team is empty --- it returns 200 records

project=XYZ and Scrum Team is not empty -- it returns 383 records

Where did i go wrong? The sum of the 2nd and 3rd should equal the 1st.

Hi @Rahul Aich [Nagra],

This is an interesting one...have you tried using IS NULL and IS NOT NULL instead of IS EMPTY and IS NOT EMPTY?

It shouldn't make a difference, but just in case...

How many issue types are you using? Are you sure that all types have that field?
