Status in the "Sprint Report" is incorrect for a specific issue

Question

For one specific issue in my project, the status reported in the "Sprint Report" is incorrect:

* the issue is actually CLOSED
* however, in the Sprint Report, it appears with status ON GOING, in the Issues Not Completed section

For all the other issues in the sprint, status in the report is fine. I do not see anything specific for the faulty issue.

This looks very similar to issue JSWSERVER-8029 (and all linked issues in this ticket) but all these issues are fixed with the Jira I use (Jira Server 7.12.3).

i tried re-indexing, but this did not change anything.

Is this a known bug ? Any known workaround ?

The sprint report is only generated at the time the sprint is closed.  It is a snap-shot of what the sprint looked like at the time the sprint was closed.  I suspect that the sprint was closed, and then at sometime after that, the issue status changed to closed as well.

I would recommend going to the sprint report and checking the exact time the sprint closed.

Then compare this to the issue history of this issue in question.

I am interested to see if this issue's status changed after the time the sprint was closed to explain this behavior.
