Roadmap feature

We love the new Roadmap feature however not being able to enable it on existing Jira Boards renders it unusable for us as a team. Our Jira board is packed with historical information and its backlog and overall setup means that scrapping it and starting fresh is not an option for us. 

Is there anyway to migrate our existing board into "Next Gen"?

Hello,

You can not migrate a classic board to a next-gen board. You can only move issues from a classic project to a next-gen project and begin to use the next-gen board. 

Right now the next-gen projects are under active development. Next-gen projects lack many feature from classic projects. Before migration kindly make sure that next-gen projects have features required by you.
