Why can't I login to atlassian via sourcetree while have no problem logging into the bitbucket site?

I login to bitbucket.org no problem via the Web site.

I use my exact same account with sourcetree and can't authenticate to push changes to the server.

I had to delete the passwd file to authenticate push / pull requests from SourceTree to BitBucket. Here's where I found my solution:

Here's what I did...

I deleted this file:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\passwd

Then I simply attempted a push, signed in to bitbucket from a prompt, signed into a second prompt, then the push worked and I haven't had a problem since then.

We need more info to troubleshoot your issue:

It sounds like you might be using Windows, if so, is Internet Explorer updated to the latest version? (Sourcetree relies on it for the authentication step)
What steps are you following to connect your Bitbucket Cloud account?
Are you getting any error message? Can you post a screenshot?
