There are couple of issue with a User Director which we have configured.
We have two instances of JIRA, Test and Production. The issue is happening only in the Production instance. However we have the same User directory configuration on both these instances.
- User Directory Synchronizing correctly but the Users are getting dropped out. The users are not visible when they are being searched in Production but the same user is visible in the Test.
- The JIRA access group added to the users are automatically getting removed. i.e After we give jira application access by adding them in that group the user access works for couple of hours/days but later the users are not able to access JIRA as the group is removed automatically.
- Few users are shown as Inactive but in the AD the account is active. Checking the JIRA Database the account is marked as inactive. This happens even if the Synchronization is successful.
- We have other user directory in the same instance but only one of them is facing such issue.
- We tried to disable the problematic user directory and tried to create a new one but the JIRA application license group which were allocated are getting removed which will result in reallocating all the licenses back to users.
