Imported one project to production from backup file, found out less issues in backlog

The new production instance have no any project,we created a new empty project with the same key which we want to import the project from the backup file on the DEV instance.

 

The project imported successfully without any error, but when the project lead checked the project, found out the backlog has less issue than the DEV.

 

The Prod and DEV instance have the same version 7.9.

Hi Edward,

You might want to try a lock/full indexing to make sure this is not caused by missing index.

Next, you can log in to JIRA database do a SQL count on jiraissue table to check if the Project Import was 100% successful. 

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM jiraissue;

You might need to add WHERE clause if you issues from different projects.
