Just started getting an error when trying to create an issue that the "Work Type" field is required.

I'm checking with folks around me if anyone changed something in Jira but it feels like a server side change. I have a field called "Issue Type" so I'm not sure why I'm being prompted for a "Work Type" value when no such field exists on my form, This issue is new. It's been working fine all along.

Hi Alex, I would look in to your project Field configuration and see if you find a field called work type, if you find that the field is not required, next step is to check the workflow for a validation on the action you are taking, whether is a transition or issue creation.
