from which confluence version synchrony is available and how do we configure synchrony
Hi @Padmasree P,
Collaborative Editing (Synchrony) was introduced in Confluence v6.0 onwards. You can enable the Collaborative Editing by going to the cog wheel --> General Configuration from Confluence v6.0 and above.
You can find all the information here.
Thanks,Amith Mathur
Hi Amith,
1.Do we need any additional port for this other than the default confluence port. I'm trying to setup confluence in 8443 in Linux environment.
2.do we need to setup anything in server.xml for synchrony .
Synchrony runs on port 8091 by default. If this port is already in use by another application on your server you can use the the synchrony.port system property to change it to an available port.
You need not setup anything else in the server.xml file unless you are using different port other than 8091.
You can review the Confluence's internal Synchrony proxy section in this page
thank you, will synchrony work if we try to setup context path for confluence
Yes, the context path for Confluence is irrelevant to Synchrony
