Hi,
I just started today with experimenting the Jira REST API (using Python). I'm following these steps:
https://jira.readthedocs.io/en/master/installation.html
Then started my Python script like this:
from jira import JIRAjira = JIRA()jac = JIRA('https://jira.wehkampgroep.nl')It keeps using localhost when running this code. It looks that the "jac" parameter doesn't work.Any idea?Regards,Eelco
Hi @Eelco Middelburg,
It should be
options = {'server': 'https://jira.wehkampgroep.nl'}jac = JIRA(options)
You'll also have to pass authentication. Authentication
How do I connect to my localhost using the same command?
Hi @Gautham Rajsimha,
It's the same options but with localhost instead.
options = {'server': 'http://localhost:8080'}
