On my JIRA Board Plan Mode, how can I see the labels against my issues. Ideally I'd like the board to show labels in the same way as GMail does, between the issue ID and the title.

From JIRA Agile 6.6, you can configure up to 3 fields to show on your cards (both in Plan and Work mode). See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AGILE/Customising+Cards#CustomisingCards-fieldsAddingfieldstocards.

This double spaces all the backlog lines. Please code the ability to do this on one line.
Agreed with Lanier. Please could we have the extra columns without double spacing the backlog lines.
