Jira freezes when editing or creating issues

Jira freezes when I try to do one of the following things:

* edit an issue (using the edit button - clicking on a field works)

* try to proceed an issue in the workflow

* try to create a new issue

This is only for me - other people in the team can do these things.

I already tried these things:

- reboot

- clear browser cache

- different browsers (firefox and chrome)

- reindex Jira

Any other ideas?

I found a solution.

The server has been set up via http: and I tried to use it via https: - which worked for many other things, but not for the activities mentioned above. Strange to me - but anyway, I've got my workaround.
