JIRA REST API - what sprints was an issue in

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to get the sprints an issue was in.

For Example, 

XX-10 was in Sprint 1, and Sprint 4 at the start,

XX-10 was added to Sprint 2 on the 2nd day of the sprint (10-day sprint)

XX-10 was removed from Sprint 2 on the 7th day,

XX-10 was not in Sprint 3.

With over 20 sprints, it's not practical to iterate through each sprint looking for that issue.

Additionally, I was told that the DB table only shows the sprints an item was in at the end of the sprint, not just part of the sprint at any point.

You can disregard this question. The standard rest API includes the sprint field.

Still having the issue where something removed from the sprint - even if the item was in the sprint at sprint start and we remove it during the sprint, it does not show up as being in the sprint. Somehow, JIRA can display that information in the changelog.
