We are having a strange situation today. Some users are not able to log into Jira. Jira is configured to use an LDAP for authentication. This is started one day without any changes implemented in both sides (jira - ldap).
In the logs I found the following which I am not sure if this is something relevant:
org.springframework.transaction.CannotCreateTransactionException:
Could not create DirContext instance for transaction; nested exception is
org.springframework.ldap.CommunicationException: <ldpa host>:636;
nested exception is javax.naming.CommunicationException: <ldap host>:636
[Root exception is java.net.UnknownHostException: <ldap host>]
A workaround for some users is to clear all browser data and try again.
Any idea what is this or why is happening or where to check?
