How can I get Synchrony to work behind a reverse Proxy?

Hello, 

We are using Confluence behind nginx with SSL but facing some issues with Synchrony .
Synchrony does not seem to start even after troubleshooting with your documentations.

The other issue is whenver we try to make any chnages on the cfg file, confluence does not start correctly without any errors mentinned in the log.  The issue persists even after reverting the changes made in the cfg file.

To fix the issue, i need to delete the file confluence.cfg.xml located under  /var/atlassian/application-data/confluence and reconfigure Confluence to fix the issue.

What changes are you making to confluence.cfg.xml that break it all, and what does your nginx reverse proxy setup look like?  Where have you diverged from the documentation?
