How do I remove date values in the new issue view?

Question

Now that edit has been removed there seems to be no way to remove dates from an issue, other than doing it via the bulk edit action.

i.e. /browse/<Key> - a scheduled for date has been set, it now needs to be removed, but clicking the field, on the new view, only allows me to edit it, not clear it (delete does nothing).

I was able to test and faced the same issue on a test instance.
Since the option to remove date using the new issue view is not available, I've opened a feature request for our dev team to check:
