Currently am trying to give users the ability to close the announcement banner. I have this working until the page is refreshed or if a user navigates to a new page...
Code:<div class="aui-message closeable"><p class="title"><a href="https://xxxxxxxxxxxx/display/~admin/2018/08/28/Confluence+Printing+Update">New printing add-on installed: Scroll PDF Exporter.</a></div>
Does anyone know a way to keep the banner closed when navigating if a person clicks the X?
Hi @Jonathan Smith
When you says..."The same code will not display the X in the Announcement Banner."Did you mean that you have tried the same HTML code on Announcement Banner for Confluence Free App and on there, it doesn't work?
Correct @Alejandro Villalobos _atSistemas_ .
Posting code in the Announcement Banner for Confluence will not display a close button.
Posting code in global HTML displays the closed button, but if you navigate off the page, the banner (from code) reappears.
Did you figure out how to do that?I would like to achieve the same thing, and if possible without expensive plugins.
