how to create a project in Bitbucket?

I want to import an existing project source code into bitbucket. To do this , I will create a new project and then a new repository into this project. Is the idea feasible?

If it is feasible, how to create a new project? I didn't find any button for creating project, is that a permission issue?

If it is permission issue ,How to get my permission?

Hi! Are you using Bitbucket Cloud or Server?

Bitbucket Cloud doesn't have projects, unless you're using a Team account. If what you want is to create a new repo, you can follow the instructions at Repository setup.

If you're using Bitbucket Server, you can follow the steps at Creating projects.

Hello,

You need to create a repository and then connect your source code to this repository. To connect you code to repository you just have to set the origin variable. When you create a repository in bitbucket, there will be instructions how to connect existing source code project.
