Atlassian Companion app troubles with iE 11

Question

Hi

We do have troubles with iE 11 on Windows 7. The browser doesn't recognize the already installed Atlassian Companion app. And as we're not allowed to download and install any third party programm the function is useless. Is there anything that could be checked to know why it doesn't recognize the existence of the app? Or can the function be disabled completely?

It's working ok with Chrome and Firefox but we're forced to use iE 11.

It appears that this issue wasn't resolved in the end, and Andrea postponed working on it further, perhaps to a later date. If you're having the same issue, please raise a support ticket. Include your Support Zip and refer to this thread.

We're having the same issue with Confluence 6.13.5 and IE when Confluence is behind Apache.
