Notification with Custom Field Value

Question

Hi all !!

I created a Custom Field (User Picker), and I need to send an email to the value of this Custom Field on a particular Event.

Normally, the answer would be adding to the specific event a notification (type "User Custom Field Value") and selecting the correct Field in the combo box. But when I try, no choice is proposed in the combo box ! So i can't select my Custom Field :(

May be I missed a step in the process ? What is the problem ?

Hi Alfred,

I believe this is not possible to be done on JIRA out of the box.

You may try using the Email This Issue plugin to achieve what you want.

According to the features list in the link below, the plugin supports sending e-mails to recipients on custom fields:
