Upgrade completed, Confluence starts up with this error:

Pre-upgrade validation failed. Check the Confluence application logs for more details. You'll need to fix these problems and restart Confluence before you can upgrade. Upgrade error message: Cannot update schema

Hi, Duane.

While confirming on the questions asked by Mikael, the error could also mean that there is a mismatch on the database name since it is case sensitive as mentioned in the KB here.

Can you go through the resolution steps to confirm if this is the case? Thanks.

What error do you see in the application log? What version of SQL Server are your using?
