Page Properties Report not displaying information permission issue

I'm having a problem with a page properties report. 

The data source where the Page Properties macro is located is restricted to certain users as some fields in that page are sensitive, to that page only, they have space permission but no view or edit on that particular page.

The Page Properties report is in another space with open restrictions for all.

The users who have no access to the page with the data can only see an empty table in the page properties report. But users with view access to the source page see the page properties report fully filled in.

Is there a workaround for this without granting people access to that page?

Users will need access to the source page to be able to see the content on the page properties report. 

An option is to move the sensitive information into a restricted child page and then open up the parent page which has your page properties macro.
