Hello,
I have a requirement. My client is requesting me to download a confluence page to excel (irrespective of the Content /Tables).
Could you please advise me with a add-on or steps which will satisfy my requirement.
Thanks in Advance.
Might not be the best method, but what about just working out of an Excel spreadsheet which is saved in a File List? This might save you a lot of headaches.
Confluence is a wiki, Excel is a spreadsheet. These two types of data are fundamentally incompatible, so the idea of "export whole page to excel" is nonsense.
Could you explain what your users are trying to do here? And why?
Hello Ganesh,
It is possible to export tables on a page to CSV. You can use Table Filter macro to export tables to CSV.
It may depend on what version you're using and if Cloud or Server, but I suspect for more recent versions at least no macros are required to export a Confluence table to Excel. Just copy/paste. You can likewise go from Excel to Confluence, although it will just be a basic table when exported to Confluence.
