Do notifications for @mention users occur for each newly created comment?

Rex Card

Does a user get a notification each time an @mention is placed in a new comment, even if it is the same user?

-------------------------------------------------------

For example I create a page (and save) and @mention a user in the first comment. I assume they get a notification.

If I update the page again (and save) or not update the page can I create another comment with an @mention and assume the mentioned user (same as user in the first comment) will get another update?

Hi Rex!

Yes, mentioned users will get a notification for each comment they are mentioned in. If you create two comments, each mentioning that user, the user will receive two notifications. This is true regardless of whether or not the page content has been updated.

I hope this helps!
