We have requirement like this. When a customer enter's a date in the date field. It should be converted into a Jillian date format(yyyyddd). can it be donw in JIRA SERVICE DESk. Thank You Nikhil

Thanks for your answer Raynard Rhodes, But my requirement is not that. When a customer want to raise a ticket through the portal the date field should be a regular date. but when the ticket is created the field value should be converted into an other format which is Jillian date.

Hello,

I believe date format can be configured in global settings.

Clicking the Admin settings in the upper right corner > System > General Configuration > Advance (on right hand side)

You can change jira.date.picker and time picker.

Hopefully I understood this correctly =]
