Restrict JIRA access temporarily to all users except administrators to make some modifications on JIRA configuration

Hi all,

Is this possible to desactivate temporarely access to all users ? in fact, only administrators could connect to JIRA and could do some actions...

If yes, how ? I saw that it was possible to post a message visible by all users... but I did not find any possibility to restrict access only to administrators.

People do this by changing the port on which JIRA runs and then restatring it. The new URL should only be available to admins!

Another option is to change "JIRA Users" permission only to administrators. But that might impact functionalities like email subscriptions!
