Content by label macro not showing full excerpt

When I use the content by label macro, the result is the same whether I set the Excerpt Display option to simple or rich content. The rich content is supposed to show the entire excerpt where as the simple is supposed to show just the first part of it.

Hi - It works as expected on my test instance. Here is is with simple:

To isolate the issue, please create a blank test page and try the macro there.

Please let me know what version of Confluence server you are seeing this behavior on.
