ISSUE:
A few of our users have raised the concern that it is very easy to lose your work if you accidentally hit the Cancel button on the Issue Creation screen. Our task descriptions are very detailed, so this can result in losing several minutes of input information. Frustration ensues!
REPRO:
1) Create Issue
2) Press Cancel
3) Observe that the issue is cancelled without any confirmation
EXPECTED:
When pressing Cancel, a confirmation dialog should prompt the user to confirm they wish to cancel the issue creation.
NOTES:
JIRA already supports javascript checks when leaving a page to confirm that you will lose your unsaved work. Is there any plan to add similar functionality to cancel buttons to prevent these types of accidents?
