Will Stash be helpful having remote access to server from other than company premise?

Sure! Provided you have a suitable permissions configured (so that only users in your company have access to your closed source projects) you can totally expose Stash externally.
Our very own https://stash.atlassian.comis accessible on the public internet, but you have to have Atlassian credentials to be able to log in.
