Email Notifications in Jira

For every little change that is made to a ticket on the Kanban board, every time a person adds something a notification is sent by mail. This results in an overload of mail notifications.

It would be better that either notifications can be bundled (one update for a change of ticket in the last 5 minutes) or by action (change of assignee, fill in custom fields, give comment, ...)

It would make the notifications system much more efficient.

There is an open ticket: JRASERVER-1369

I guess you have already configured the notification scheme? If not, you can disable the notifications for some events if needed.

You can also create a JQL subscription for example in every 15 min to get the updated issues etc.
