Tiled Dashboard

Question

Hi, Can we have spaces arranged as tiles as shown here?

Although the above image is only for illustrative purposes, here's the scenario:

Suppose we have a category called 'Advisor Portal'

The sub categories/sub spaces are Retirement Planning, Education Planning, etc.

Just by clicking on a tile, a user should be able to view all documents and discussions that have happened there

Really appreciate your response on whether a similar look n feel is possible in Confluence

Thank you very much!

Hi @Sitara Anilal

you're welcome - here is a screenshot of the page in editmode. Maybe this can help, too.

Macro Bereich -> Space

Macro Spalte -> Column

Sorry switched to german

Sure. Thank you so much. I am new to Confluence, yet will try to recreate what you have done here. Looks like this solution will work!

Will let you know if I stumble upon any hitches

Thanks again!!

My idea would be (and please remember I'm not a programmer - I'm pretty sure there is a better and more comfortable solution)

* create all tiles you may need and save them as attachment on an open site as pics
* use a site for the dashboard like it's described here (Using a page as the site landing page)
* play a little bit with columns and sections and use section and column macros - more answers here
* place tiles in the sections
* put the links on the pics where they should lead

Could look like this (only took me like 2 min. to create this)

To make it more comfortable for admins - create finallized blueprints for spaces with the tiles already on it - and they will only have to put on links or delete tiles they don't need. This should work fine cause you mentioned  pre-defined structures.

Good luck - and feel free to ask if you have questions left
