I need some help in setting up JIRA board. I have now subscribed to the free trial version so that I can see and purchase the version later.
Need some help as I am unable to create my own workflow because the add status is grayed out.

Make sure user who is editing the board is also present to the Project Administrators role for that project. First add that user in role and check.

For now there is only 1 user which is myself and I have Project Admin rights.
