Trouble with filter and resolved task

Question

I am using the following filter:

project = NEW AND issuetype = Sub-task AND status != Done AND text ~ ktg OR text ~ kwg ORDER BY summary ASC, description DESC, due DESC, created DESC

I have also tried the same filter but with resolution instead of status.

How do I troubleshoot this?

Might need to play with some parentheses looks like its catching that "OR text ~ kwg " statement

Try this:

project = NEW AND issuetype = Sub-task AND status != Done AND (text ~ ktg OR text ~ kwg) ORDER BY summary ASC, description DESC, due DESC, created DESC
