Hi,
i'm trying to show one project in the customer portal to minimize user complexity, it would be simple if I can only show requests in the main page and not under groups
Hey @Mayssam Ismail
If you limit your customers to be only able to view one project then it will not send them to the main page like the image you have shown.
The reason that you see it as the image, is because you have access to multiple different JSD projects.
If you provide a link to your customer like the below they will directly access the portal you want them to. 4 represents the project portal ID.
https://jira.jira.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/4
I hope this helps! Let me know if I need to clear anything up for you!
Have a great week!
i Dear, thank you for your quick reply.
i actually meant groups and not project i have edited the post but you were super fast to open it before i did and thank you for that.
i want customer to see one segments of requests
Oh! Okay sorry about that.
I will look into this
Very Helpful! thank you!
Mayssam,
What you're displaying is the main help center. All service desk project will show under as shown. In your case, you've one service desk project.
As for groups, this involves Request Types. You can have your request type in various groups. For example, your request type INCIDENT can be in General or Need Approval group.

Thank you again for the reply,
Exactly what i don't want, i don't want to use groups in requests.
i prefer to show all by default in the portal.
Then have them in one group called GENERAL
i already do, please see attached
you cannot eliminate the group function even if there is only one group.
Yes it seems like it,
