Jira link Done task to Bitbucket commit

Hi.

I have Jira running on a local server and Bitbucket on the cloud server.

In the past, I was working with trello and Bitbucket assigning a Bitbucket commit to a "done" card in trello.

In Jira I already linked the BitBucket account but I don't understand why it only allows me to create a new branch instead to link to a commit.

If I click Development > Create branch. I can see my repository correctly linked.

I don't want to create a new branch but to link finished task to bitbucket commits.

The linking is done using the jira issue keys in the commit. If you amend the old commits to include the jira issue key in the commit message, they will start appearing in the development panel of the issue.
