How do I add variables to a test in XRAY?

Question

We're in the process of moving our testing across to JIRA and XRAY, from HP ALM (Quality Center). We're trying to figure out how to do a number of things we do in ALM but in JIRA. We're doing manual testing, not automated. I don't know if we have access to any other JIRA software such as Bamboo / Cucumber so I'm just hoping to do this using JIRA and XRAY.

1) How do I add variables to scripts so that a fixed value appears in my scripts during execution?

2) How do I add screenshots from the clipboard directly into an execution? If we have to upload the image from the hdd it will take much longer for us to execute scripts so we're very keep to find out how to do this.

There is still the open feature ticket https://jira.xpand-it.com/browse/XRAY-1734

It should be part of the next major release.

Hi,

If you use Cucumber Scenario Outlines, you'll have a sort of test parameterization. The data, in this case, would be specified within the Examples section of the Cucumber Scenario Outline based test.
