Confluence not starting up. How can I troubleshoot if application cannot start.

My Confluence instance will not come up. I just installed an evaluation of Gliffy and was working with it when the site stopped working. Not sure if that is related. When I looked for troubleshooting methods, I found the following link for help: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/troubleshooting-problems-and-requesting-technical-support-776659671.html

However, the suggestions listed at the top all assume that you are logged in and can troubleshoot from there. ie. (Run healthcheck, run in safe mode. etc..) Is it possible to create a support zip if I can't bring up the site?

** Additional info. **

The Atlassian Confluence service is stopped. When I try to restart, it appears to but comes back as stopped after as short time.

Any suggestions on what steps I should take next would be appreciated.

Yeah, I began to look through those, but wasn't sure which files were relevant or what to look for. I'll study it some more to see what I can find. Thanks If you have any further suggestions, please let me know.

Have a look in the logs. 99% that you will find the problem there.

I'm seeing the following message: "Unable to create a tracker when osgi is not running" Any thoughts?
