When I create a Support zip file in Jira, where does the zip file get created? I want to send it to support, but can't find it. My Jira server is a Linux server.

Jira offers you a link to download the support.zip when creating it. Jira should also state the path after creating it. Have a look at the export folder of your Jira Home directory.
