Multiple Styles in Headers

Question

My space header will have two parts, a company name and a company slogan. How can I assign different CSS styles to text inside the header? (Look and Feel > Sidebar, header and footer > Header)

I was unsuccessful with the following:

{column:id=name-text}My Company {column:id=slogan-text} Our Slogan

I ended up creating a new page, making my header with multiple CSS styles. Then I put the header into an excerpt.
Then in the header text field I put this:
{excerpt-include: myHeaderPage|nopanel=true}

I was hoping for a way to reference a CSS class, so I can control multiple attributes of font styling.

Hi Zack!

You can apply styles to the header by using Confluence Wiki Markup. Try using the {color} tag like this:

{color:blue}My Company{color} {color:grey}"We're the best!"{color}
