Does "issueFunction in hasLinkType("<link type>")" works when linking to issues from other instance?

Hello,

Can someone confirm if query "issueFunction in hasLinkType("<link type>")" should work when linking to issues from different jira instance?

I have that problem that we are using two different instances of jira and we are linking issues between those two instances and I want to search for all issues which are linked in one instance with specific link type to other jira instance - when using the query:

issueFunction in hasLinkType("Implementation") 

the result is zero but I know that I have several issues linked with this type of link to the second jira instance (link is created on both instances and is visible in issue section "Issue Links")...

That specific function in JQL is being provided by scriptrunner.  I don't believe this function has the expectation to work for remote links, only local issue links.

That said, the documentation on the scripted JQL enhancements provided by scriptrunner include another function called: linkedIssuesOfRemote

Perhaps this function will help instead.
