CFR Part 11 E-Signature - Bulk approve

Glenn Quirynen

Hi,

there are various e-signature plugins available for JIRA, to support CFR Part 11 esignature requirements.

Are you aware of any of these plugins that they support 'bulk' signatures? So signing of a set of user stories in 1 go, instead of 1 by 1?

Thanks,

Hi Glenn,

I've been using eSign Genie for "Bulk signatures" functionality. It provides you various options to choose from for getting signed your documents online from multiple users.

You can send the same documents to multiple users at the same time and they'll need to esign it separately.
You can create a URL and embed your document then ask your customers/users to come and sign the document.

Although I've no idea if it's available for JIRA.

If I understand the CFR Part 11 signature requirements correctly, you must sign each document separately, and put in a password with each signature.

@MarcI do confirm. Bulk signature are only possible in special cases. The function must be validated and tested and under change control (GAMP5)

Vendor Update: eSign for Jira has recently been enhanced to support bulk signatures where multiple issues can be signed in a single operation. See Recent Changes (August 2021) for more details.
