Change Custom Date Completed Field when Status Changes

Question

Hi,

I'd like to change the Date Completed Field to be the current date when an issue status in the workflow is moved to Done. Any ideas on how to do this without a plugin?

Additional info for @Alexey Matveev comment:

If resolution field is set within that transition (to Done) then yo do not need to change Date Completed field. It is already set under resolutiondate.

Also, you can use Enhancer Plugin's status date custom field. You can configure the field to hold first/last transition date to Done status. Here are the details.

Kindly check if you have the Update Custom Field Value post function. If you have it, then you can use %%CURRENT_DATETIME%% expression. You can find more info here:
